Christopher Pace, born in Toronto and raised in the heart of Victoria, Gozo, turned his passion for food into a career through years of experience both locally and abroad. In November 2020, during the height of the pandemic, he took a bold step and opened Al Sale Restaurant, guided by his motto: Excellent Food, Excellent Service. His dedication quickly built a loyal following, making Al Sale a favourite spot for families and friends alike.

Just four years later, Al Sale earned several prestigious awards, including being rated the top survey restaurant in Gozo and receiving recommendations in the Michelin Guide Malta 2024, 2025 and 2026. Committed to quality, the team uses fresh local produce and offers a menu that caters to both meat and seafood lovers.
